Carter Blood Care Drive
The results are in from Tuesday's blood drive. Alavardo High School had 93 potential donors (mostly students) although, only 77 students were actually allowed to give blood. Carter Blood Care drew 74 whole units and three red cell units. AHS has been instrumental in saving the lives of 228 patients. A special thanks goes to Susan Mayhew, Truman Bates, and Carter Blood Care for organizing this event.
